Let's Talk About Jidenna and Twitter Ng

Let’s assume your brother/cousin brought home a mixed race (or halfcaste as most of y’al call em) wife that earns 250k a month and says he wants to marry her, and then another brother brings home a Black Ibadan babe with tribal marks and an Ibadan accent but she has her own business that earns her 500k a month, be honest which of the brother would you be happy for. Which of their wives would you take out and snap a billion pics with and post on intagram with thirsty captions. When they both give birth who’s house will you visit first and who’s baby would u snap and wish was yours. Be Honest.

So yesterday I saw a short video on instagram about Jidenna narrating his experience and how he views Nigeria due to his experience and I saw the way Nigerians were bashing him and quickly I took to his defence, I had no idea when I woke he would trend for HOURS on twitter with his people bashing him. Let me quickly drop this, Jidenna is more of a Nigerian ambassador than any other Naija born artist raised abroad. You’re surprised abi, watch his two video’s classic man and Yoga, in his posh suits he always manages to fit an Ankara tie and pocket square in it. Then check out his instagram page, always hailing Nigerian dignitaries and talking about how he looks up to them. Or is it in his radio interviews where he always talks about how he’s half Nigerian and even coined up the word Igbo American.

So in his interview he mentioned how being a light skinned in Nigeria you would be valued more, and how people might tend to kidnap you and also how he carried guns to Nigeria for his dad’s burial and all. Now let’s dissect that. Do you bastards want to lie that you don’t prefer light skinned babes more than dark skinned babes, or why else do girls spend a fortune on bleaching, so please abeg abeg he didn’t say anything wrong when he said light skinned people were valued more than dark skinned people. It’s just paining you that he opened your ignorant asses to the world. In the USA calling someone halfcaste is an offence so when Jidenna said light skinned he actually ment halfcaste, now do you want to lie tha ‘Halfcaste” people aren’t valued more in Nigeria? Or why else do musicians demand they put them in all their videos. Also he mentioned how he was robbed when he was in Nigeria because he was light skinned and his mother was white. I’m not even going to defend that cuz we all know the drill. A Nigerian man comes from usa with his white wife and halfcaste son and you expect thieves not to rob them, like I said earlier you people are vexed that he’s opening your black ass to the world.

Whats pissing me off is twitter Ng. Nigerian youths woke up and saw a trend and started to diss him saying all sort of BS. The worst part is that half of them have no idea who he is and the other half didn’t even watch the video, just to feel among they added their dirty mouth and began to diss the poor guy Who kept his Igbo name instead of using a stage name. After reading the tweets dished out by Nigerians a little part of me died and I was ashamed to be a Nigerian. Even while they were yabbing him a bomb went off in Borno state but no one gave a fuck, they kept dissing poor Jidenna all cuz he stated his experience in Nigeria and spoke on how he viewed Nigeria.

The main problem here is the fact that he spoke ill of us abroad, Nigerian youths are like Yoruba women. Always ready to fight whether they are wrong or right. Did Jidenna lie, is Nigeria a safe place. Abi didn’t Four bombings happen this week, didn’t Niger delta people use to kidnap WHITE people back in the days and didn’t armed robbers target “halfcaste” people because they assume they are richer. Jidenna didn’t lie, light skinned people are believed to be of higher value in Nigeria., be it the bleachers, the half castes or the yellow pawpaw colour. That’s the truth. It just saddens me the way Nigerians use twitter yabbing anyone their jobless ass feels like thinking their mundane opinion counts. What wil vex me is if Jidenna apologises or issues a statement to Nigerians. Their opinions doesn’t fucking count and they are not even part of the people who made him blow, he owes us Nothing and if I may say that motherfuvker is handsome and fresh as fuck.

  1. First of all you shouldn't compare a yoruba girl with tribal marks to a half caste, i have met very rich half caste girls with long curly hair and they live like every other nigerian with no special treatment whatsoever, no kidnapper even sends them, and i don't see what makes jidenna so special that a kidnapper would pick interest in him.
