A Random Article About a Bread Seller and a Scholar
21:10:00Opeyemi FamakinI've been seeing everyone rant about this Jumoke and UNILAG Scholar issue saying organisations helped Jumoke but nobody helped the 5.0 scholar. Before i start venting let me ask you this quick question, Who you don epp?
So a random bread seller was lucky enough to walk into a photo shoot and photo bomb and the photographer took interest in her and pushed her into the media and organizations saw an angle to make money from the bread seller and in doing that they empowered her and made her rich. Win win for both parties, isnt that the prayer of every average Nigerian hustling for his daily bread, isnt that what you vehemently pray for in church every sunday? "Lord let my blesser Locate me". God answered Jumoke and sent an international celeb from London and bam she's blessed.
In another cadre, a student who's sent to school graduates with a splendid result in Psychology (if we are being honest that course isnt much of a big deal in Nigeria, it's those who didn't pass law and masscomm that manage such courses), he was lucky enough to get his story published and praises were applauded to him. Then Nigerians decided to carry his matter on top their frustrated head saying organisations helped a common breadseller but cant help a scholar.
First of all let me clarify something, being a scholar entitles you to NOTHING, N O T H I N G. Agreed you graduated with a first class and that's a great feat but that doesn't entitle you to any special treatment from organizations or the government. Being a first class graduate entitles you to better jobs, preference during job interview and maybe scholarships. It does not entitle you to endorsements, doesn't entitle you to a lavish house, doesn't entitle you to traveling and everything else Jumoke has. I've written it before that Nigerians love to be led, one hediot or shediot posted it on social media that Jumoke who's a common breadseller got blablabla and a scholar didn't get anything and then a lot of myopic Nigerians (who are mostly jobless frustrated youths who have fishbrain) saw it and agreed and felt their opinion woud change shit and started saying crap about Jumoke tackling her and saying why are the organizations helping only her. Don't you guys know how fucking stupid you sound, an organization decides to help a random street girl and empowers her, a woman at that and you ungrateful twits are still complaining. From a breadseller they made her a celebrity who's now the bread winner of her house and you so called women empowerment groups and feminists are holding grudges saying why her and not a scholar. You people are worse than the nagging isrealites of Moses time and God has started punishing us... with extreme heat, dollar rising and every other bullshit happening in Nigeria. These organisations make their own money and they have the right to give whoever the fuck they want to and you have no fucking say in it (Yes i know i curse a lot but it's needed to drive at my FUCKING point).
Its like if i decide to give a begger 1k and then a bunch of people start to chastise me saying instead of giving one begger 1k why not give 10 beggers N100, it's my damn money and i can do what i want. Nobody is entitled to any damn thing and the organizations can do whatever they want with their money and you cant do a damn thing about it even if you keep ranting. or better still you go and empower the scholar yourself and stop waiting for people to do shit you want done. Even if they gave that boy a job that paid 500k you people would staill nag saying Jumoke makes that in a weekhoto shots and he makes that in a month after hard labour. You people are greedy and very ungrateful and that's why God will never answer your prayers because your heart is full of hate and also because your a puppet who loves to be led and told what to think.
Everyday i ask God why he made me a Nigerian, not like Nigeria is bad but this my generation is full of retards, they do not have a brain and they are like sheep.,Stupid and love to be told what to do and what to think.
NB: i curse a lot, get over it
When i say Nigerians i'm referring to mostly Lagosians
also when i say Nigerian are stupid i dont mean all of you, its the shallow petty one's i'm talking to, so if you feel you fall in that category please feel free to take offense and if you're hating on Jumoke for her luck then maybe, just maybe you're one of those Nigerians i'm referring to.

ReplyDeleteFirst positive comment from you.. I'm killing chicken
DeleteOpe, it was as if u read my mind before writing this writeup. Olajumoke was hustling for her daily bread wen she got blessed. The scholar should also first get a good job, then do well and there are chances that he wld be promoted to a very high status even higher than olajumoke. His grades has already given him the advantage of getting a very good job. What follows next is left to him.
ReplyDeleteLol.. I'm actually surprised Nigerians are agreeing with me..
DeleteI swear, u na wéré. You really voiced out my thoughts on false women empowerment and hypocritical feminist groups.
