Men are scum, Men are scum. This has been the anthem worldwide by almost all ladies. Many women have caught their husbands cheating and having extramarital affairs so the general consensus has been that men are scum. On the other side lies men who don't have half the trust issues their wives have. They rarely suspect their wives of cheating and even if they
do a lot of them just sweep it under the rug because deep down they know they'd loathe the result they'd find out.

The truth is, women cheat as much as men but they are smarter in covering it up and leaving no traces. Most people would assume that women sleeping with other men and having illegitimate kids for their husbands is a new thing but I kid you not, this is as old as our forefather and was even worse and rampant than it is now. Let me explain, back in the day our forefathers had more than one wife and having loads of kids then was very acceptable. Their wives would cheat and have one or two illegitimate kids and no one would know. Many Kings have caught one of their queens having affairs with the guards and they were only caught because there's a special jazz for kings to catch their queens cheating. Even the Ooni of Ife, after he divorced his wife she had to come for special spiritual cleansing else any man she slept with would die. Basically, men didn't keep tracks of their kids back in the days because the more kids they had, the more hands they had to work on their farmland and poverty wasn't a thing back then.

Fast forward to the 21st century. Everyone is now monogamous and cheating is harder. Most couples now have an average of 2-3 kids and a woman having an illegitimate child would be easier to spot because the child might not look like the father at all. Recently a Nigerian woman jumped off third mainland bridge because her lover exposed her to her husband and he found out that their 3 kids weren't his. Basically she couldn't handle the shame and she ended her life. While this is a very sad case because suicide is nothing to joke about, it shows that women can be as bad as men or even worse.
